ABC Warranty Programs
Phenix Rods & Accessories (“Phenix Rods”) warrants that its fishing rods and blanks are free from defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner. Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, Phenix Rods will, at its option, either repair or replace any part of its products that prove defective because of improper workmanship or materials. This warranty does not cover any damage to this product that results from fire, intentional breakage, accident, abuse, misuse, natural disaster, repair, or modification.
This warranty covers only repair or replacement for defective Phenix Rods products. Phenix Rods reserve the right to determine whether to repair or replace any Phenix Rods product covered by this warranty and the right to replace any discontinued models with comparable models when necessary. Colors and components may vary between original and replacement parts. This warranty does not apply to products used for commercial purposes.
PHENIX RODS SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights, which may vary from state to state.
America No-Hassle Replacement (Recommended)
Phenix Rods offer a no-hassle replacement policy for anglers living in the continent of North America. For damages determined to be from an accident, normal wear and tear, or neglect, you will receive an accelerated direct replacement of the broken rod with the fees stated below.
If the specific model is unavailable, you may choose an alternative one at the specific MSRP price point. If you like to change to a different rod model, which we call an “upgrade,” you may choose by simply paying an extra upgrade fee. The Upgrade fee is the MSRP difference between the new and the damaged rod/blank. Sorry, there is no downgrade.
After submitting this form, a customer support specialist will send instructions with a subtotal fee according to your selection (see the fee chart below). Customers may also process the America No-Hassle Replacement program with a participating Phenix Rods Authorized Dealer.
Boron Legacy program
We value our loyal Phenix rods owners. Owners with our Legacy Boron rods from the 1970s thru the 2000s may upgrade to any available rods. If you have a boron Phenix rod that needs warranty service, feel free to submit the form, and a customer support specialist will send instructions with a subtotal fee according to your selection.
Claim Manufacturer Defect program
If your rod breaks within 30 days of purchase, it can be considered for no-cost replacement. Your rod will be evaluated to determine if manufacturing defect was the cause of breakage. If your rod breaks within 30 days of purchase, please send multiple clear pictures of the point of the break, a picture of the Phenix logo section (directly above reel seat), a picture of the handle section from the reel seat to the butt of the rod, and a picture or screenshot of your dated proof of purchase from an authorized dealer as well as your contact info to fishinginfo@gsmorg.com, and your rod will be evaluated for defect. Once the evaluation is complete, you will be contacted with a final determination. If your rod is found to be defective, it will be replaced at no cost to you. If your rod is found to have not broken due to defect, it will still be eligible to be replaced under the America No-Hassle Replacement Program with applicable tier fees.
